9. Personal Reasons (not only for women)

 

Civil Engineer (m/f), a vocation in a profession, which offers special basic conditions, like:

 

Due to the need for engineers and the retirement of engineers, many vacancies are opening in the public building administrations (master-builder, director of the offices for foundation engineering….), which presently cannot be filled. On necessity these positions are currently occupied by construction technicians!! In the field of activity of public services there is a balance between family and occupation, because of the possibilities of leave of absence and off-time. Note: This recommendation is not only valid for women. In the past few years the portion of female students clearly went up, i.e. the portion of women increased. Experiences by female graduates in practice show that today the woman “ Ihren Ingenieur steht” in all areas.
