Lectures / courses
The Chair of Steel and Steel-Composite Construction offers lectures in the courses of civil engineering with the degrees Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.).
The modules in the Bachelor's programme aim at the acquisition of basic principles concerning the structural design of components, as well as the ability to independently design structures and their connections. On the basis of the expertise acquired in Bachelor's studies, in-depth knowledge in the areas of steel construction, steel composite construction and composite bridge construction is acquired in the Master's programme. Lectures are continuously adapted to current standards and regulations.
A further possibility for specialisation is the elaboration of student research projects and theses. These are often related to current research topics that are dealt with at the Chair of Steel and Steel-Composite Construction. In addition, practical tasks with scientific relevance are offered.
The Chair of Steel and Steel-Composite Construction uses the moodle e-learning system to provide teaching materials and send notifications. You will receive the required course enrolment key in the respective course.
