- Skills for the safe dimensioning of complex structures with stability risk (consolidation of buckling behaviour, consolidation of 2nd order theory)
- ability to design steel structures according to the load factor method (plastic hinge theory)
- knowledge of fatigue strength aspects and design of crane girders

- design of steel structures according to methods with geometric non-linearity (consolidation of 2nd order theory
- design of steel structures according to methods with material non-linearity (load factor method, plastic hinge theory)
- consolidation: stability case buckling
- fatigue strength, dimensioning and design of crane girders

Written examination, 180 minutes
Prerequisite for admission to the examination
- Preparatory assessments on specified topics
Additional remarks
The elective module Steel Construction Master requires good knowledge of Steel Construction I, Steel Construction II as well as engineering mechanics and structural mechanics.
