Hydraulic Engineering I (B.Sc.)
On this page you will find information about the bachelor module Hydraulic Engineering I (see module description).
Student learning goals
After completing the module, students will be able to apply the laws and calculation approaches of hydromechanics to practical situations. Furthermore, they will be able to design simple hydraulic engineering facilities (e.g. dams and hydropower plants) according to the recognized rules of technology. In addition, the basic interactions between hydromechanics, hydraulic engineering, and hydrology and water management are taught in order to recognize the interrelationships in the planning of hydraulic engineering facilities.
Lecture/Exercise Dates
Lecture/Exercise:The module is taught on an annual basis and can be taken in the winter semester.
